SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
Religious Life at Maria Regina is at the heart of all lessons, activities, and thought.
Campus Ministry
Maria Regina students are invited to participate in the ministry of the Church by taking up such roles as altar servers, lectors, and ushers.
Classes
A class in the Catholic religion is a requirement at Maria Regina. It is incorporated into the school curriculum in all grade levels, instilling in our students a broader knowledge of the Catholic faith.
Retreats
Every year, middle school students at MRS are invited to attend an off-campus retreat. The students engage in Catholic-centered activities involving discussion, music, games, and meditation.
Community
As followers of the Catholic faith, Maria Regina encourages its students to engage in the community to spread faith, goodwill, and the word of our Lord Himself.
In order to graduate, 8th-grade students must obtain 20 hours of community service before the end of the year. They may fulfill this work with their families, within businesses in the community, and more. Some services in the past have included working in a convalescent home, volunteering in an office, collecting trash, and mowing lawns. 10 hours must be completed at school (such as tutoring.)
