Hello Maria Regina Family,
My name is Mr. Castellanos, but most people know me as Mr. C here at Maria Regina Catholic School. This year marks my sixth year as part of the Maria Regina community, where I teach 3rd and 4th Grade Science, 5th Grade Religion, and Middle School Spelling/Vocabulary and Art. I also serve as the Athletic Director, proudly leading our flag football and basketball teams to back-to-back defending league championships. I hold a Master of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from 1st grade through high school, supporting them through the thrills and challenges each step of the way. My teaching approach centers on creating an engaging, collaborative classroom where students feel empowered to explore, ask questions, and reach their potential. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about sports—both coaching and watching—music, poetry, and video games. I believe that learning is most powerful when students discover connections between school and their own interests, and I strive to build those bridges every day. I look forward to another year filled with growth, discovery, and championship spirit here at Maria Regina. |
